White Horse Employment are supporting a leading software company based in Liverpool strengthen their technical support function.
We are looking for a principal technical consultant who is experience with fault finding and great communication skills.

This role will serve as a technical lead for the service desk, resolving key tickets for clients and keeping communications up to date with stakeholders.

**Job Description**:

- Implementation of upgrades and patches
- Providing accurate timescales with project management
- Executing root cause fixes
- Implementing improvement to systems on key processes
- Creating Problem records for development issues
- Attending meetings with clients to discuss technical issues
- On Site Visits to clients to resolve issues and improve customer relations
- Liaising with stakeholders on requirements and creating solutions
- Mentoring colleagues and sharing information with the wider team
- Contributions to knowledgebase
- Able to work with the management team to contribute ideas and better ways of working
- Have a good positive attitude.
- Act as technical lead and escalation point for the maintenance team providing expert product/client domain expertise
- Act as technical support to the Service Delivery Director to assist in the review, improvement and reduction of tickets within the Service Desk
- Continuously improve and innovate on support techniques
- Provide support to the wider business with its maintenance, PS, R&D and S&M activities
- Operate in accordance with the service desk and customer service governance frameworks

**Salary**: £32,310.60-£36,810.81 per year
