Demand Planner

Pod Talent are excited to be working with a fantastic pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Demand Planner to join their UK team in Uxbridge (2-3 days a week in the office).
In this role, you will be managing the 24-month demand forecast for a portfolio of advanced medical products and communicating with stakeholders across the world to optimise supply chain routes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Demand Planner to join a thriving pharmaceutical business and take part in the global advancement of specialised healthcare and contribute towards a continually developing S&OP process.
About the role:
- Create highly accurate demand plans for a portfolio of 200+ SKUs
- Analyse forecasts by customer and liaise with account managers to consolidate and modify
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise product supply, including European commercial and supply chain teams and global pharmaceutical customers
- Support Head of S&OP on monthly S&OP reviews with senior management
- Ensure transparency and accuracy of data on company ERP
About you:
- 2+ years' experience in demand planning (pharmaceuticals or FMCG/Manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems in a supply chain context (eg. JDE/SAP)
- The ability to manage global stakeholder relationships and assert themselves
- Fantastic analytical ability and attention to detail
- A fundamental understanding of both demand and supply planning
