Our home in West Kilbride are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.
**When you start working with Aspris, you will receive a £500 joining bonus. This will be £250 when you first start, and £250 once you pass probation**

You will work based on a two-week rolling rota:
- Week 1 - Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun - 8pm-8am
- Week 2 - Wed, Thur, Fri - 8pm-8am
We continue to provide a unique community-based, living and learning environment in support of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country. The team assists children and young people aged 8 to 18 years to be fully included within the local community and to ensure they have the capacity to prosper beyond our homes and in the wider post-school world.

Experience isn’t always essential but there are a few characteristics you will need to be successful in this role:
**Resilience **- We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
**Communication **- Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
**Organisation **- You’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.
**Caring **- Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
**Attentive **- No young person / situation is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important and alert within any situation.
