We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Engineering professional with experience in supporting new business opportunities from a technical perspective. As the Head of New Business, you will be joining a world class technical engineering company based in Stevenage.

This opportunity will be for a proactive and passionate system of systems thinker, who will join a System Simulation and Experimentation team as the Head of New Business. The team provides a pivotal role for system development across the full product lifecycle.

The Head of New Business will head up new business engagements with key functions and Industry partners, where you will work collaboratively with a range of customers. You will need to demonstrate your influencing and communication skills to improve opportunities to support system design and development through Synthetic Environments, to accelerate our product development.

The Head of New Business role will be extremely varied, interesting, and challenging and you will quickly become a trusted partner to the business and senior stakeholders supporting system design and development.

Skills and qualifications required from the following:

- A System of Systems thinker to act as the primary contact to support business engagements with key functions and industry partners to identify and lead the teams opportunities.
- Consistent record of accomplishment interfacing with key partners.
- Good appreciation of Military domain, ideally with MoD and end user experience.
- The ability to support the definition of the project scope and objectives involving all relevant partners, whilst ensuring the technical feasibility.
- Knowledge and experience of Synthetic Environments.
- Excellent client facing and internal communication skills.

You should be able and willing to gain (UK Eyes only) security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future.
