This role offers a unique opportunity to bring stunning, sustainable gardens to life, from intimate city balconies to expansive family landscapes, with the chance to work on show gardens as well.

**Job Overview**:
This creative, project-driven role provides an exciting variety of work, including private gardens and prestigious show gardens. You’ll collaborate closely with our Lead Garden Designer to develop proposals that delight clients, add value to their properties, and enrich the surrounding environment. Our goal is to create innovative planting schemes and bespoke green spaces that reflect each client’s personal style and needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Collaborative Design Work**: Work closely with the Lead Designer to develop appealing garden designs that fulfil client briefs.
- **Site Assessment and Analysis**: Conduct thorough surveys of spaces, taking measurements and assessing factors like sunlight, shade, soil conditions, and surrounding architecture.
- **Concept Development**: Create cohesive mood boards and detailed design concepts that balance aesthetic appeal with functionality.
- **Technical Drawings and 3D Visualisation**: Produce accurate technical drawings and 3D renders, including layout plans, sectional elevations, construction drawings, and perspective views, to clearly communicate ideas to clients.
- **Planting Plans and Sourcing**: Develop comprehensive planting plans, source plants from specialist nurseries, manage orders, coordinate smooth deliveries, and oversee plant setting out on-site.
- **Project Execution**: Lead the final stages of planting and oversee project implementation, ensuring each garden is completed to the highest standards.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: Assist with marketing activities to attract new clients to our garden design services, supporting promotional efforts for show gardens as well.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Garden Design or Landscape Architecture
- Proficiency in CAD design software; hand-drawing skills are a plus
- Strong knowledge of plants and hard landscaping techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Creative, solution-focused mindset
- Reliable and punctual
