Leo Engineering specialises in converting panel vans into wheelchair accessible vehicles and we require a Trainee vehicle fitter.

Most of what you will be doing is fitting components into vehicles This includes flooring, seats, tail lifts, glass and various electrical equipment. This is to a vehicle specification that may differ from vehicle to vehicle. with most vehicles some bespoke work will be needed. This is not a role for someone who is happier to stand at a machine.

Full training will be given but a basic understanding of DIY, vehicles and manufacturing will be of benefit. This role would suit a person who is keen to learn various skills including, working with timber, steel, plastics and some vehicle electrics. You will be paired with one of our experienced fitters and will learn on the job. You should be reliable, willing to learn and be able to work as a team member. You should have a good attention to detail and be able to think for yourself.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
