**Overview**

Daggerwing is seeking an Associate Principal to join our London-based team (hybrid working model) to help grow and lead our global business.

As an Associate Principal you will be focused on these areas:
- Driving end-to-end excellence of project delivery and leading project teams - from needs assessment to strategy to implementation support.
- Helping to grow the business - focusing predominantly on organic growth with existing clients through opportunity identification, proposal development and pitch execution (you will also get involved in regional new business proposals)
- Participating in and leading thought leadership to meet clients where they are, before they know they need it
- Serving as direct manager for certain team members, and guiding, empowering and supporting all team members so that they love the career-building benefits of working at Daggerwing.
You will report to a member of Daggerwing Group’s Senior Leadership Team in the UK. You will also be part of a Global Leadership Team which you can tap into for ideas and support - including leveraging creative and consulting resources from different DaggerwingGroup offices around the world.

**Responsibilities**

**Managing delivery for clients - and delivery of results for Daggerwing**
- Leading, managing and/or overseeing projects from concept to implementation, including leading team members in the development of statements of work, project plans and budgets for both new and current clients - taking into consideration client businessneeds and staffing/pricing approaches which ensure Daggerwing Group meets or exceeds revenue targets.
- Learning about, and staying on top of, Daggerwing Group’s most effective methods of using creativity, innovation and human-centred thinking to drive meaningful change that sticks in an organisation.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients so that there can be trust and honesty in the relationship - in ways which build client loyalty and longevity, because they believe Daggerwing Group always has their best interests at heart.
- Providing hands-on support and oversight for client projects, to ensure they are on track, on time and on budget from both a client and Daggerwing Group business perspective - with an emphasis on managing all projects to ensure Daggerwing meets monthly/quarterlyfinance projections.
- Leading and/or facilitating the collaboration of multiple stakeholders (different departments in a client organisation, agencies, other consulting firms) on large-scale client engagements, keeping all teams on track to meet client goals.
- Ensuring that your team members have the information, resources and encouragement they need to deliver work at the level expected by a global Top 10 rated consulting firm. This can include helping to ensure the team is ideating and collaborating with eachother and members from other offices.
- Continually look for ways to improve process and capabilities to deliver better work, faster.

**Growing the business**
- Working with current clients to understand their business challenges and providing them with recommendations to address their challenges and opportunities.
- Contributing your expertise to the process of creating new business pitches and presentations.
- Tapping into and growing your own business network as a source of potential new business.
- Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders at Omnicom agencies, to encourage them to bring Daggerwing Group into new business pitches and to help current clients with internal problems.
- Contributing to Daggerwing Group’s thought leadership platforms and contributing, as a member of the Global Leadership Team, ideas on ways to expand our expertise and solutions, stand out as competitors and grow our reputation.

**Qualifications**

**Job requirements**
- Significant experience in advising large clients and/or projects - such as working with executive leadership teams, driving organisation / marketing transformations, culture change, process change or internal communications for major new initiatives.
- Strategic and lateral thinking, with a deep commercial awareness that can identify systematic organisational challenges and generate and execute solutions.
- Past involvement in multi-agency efforts to drive client objectives and business growth is desirable.
- Expertise (directly or indirectly) in developing 'experiences’ for customers and/or employees that are designed to change mindset and behaviour.
- Proven experience in being a trusted advisor to a client or leader in your organisation - with examples of where you were able to provide a strong point of view to address challenges.
- Proven ability to develop and grow new business.
- Ability to create and manage budgets and deliver on financial/growth targets.
- Recognised as a strong leader - being a person team members want to work for because they feel that you are making their career aspirations and learning and development a priority.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and change.
- Ability to travel as needed (which has decreased significantly since 2020).
- Relationship management skills, working across large global organisations and both in-office and virtual teams.
- Passion for client service.
- Willingness to roll-up sleeves and do the work - regardless of level.
