**Front of House Team Member - Yamato, Edinburgh**

**Role Overview**

The Front of House Team Member supports the restaurant in daily operation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility across service delivery, ensure smooth team operation and guest experience. We value individuals with a good character, a passion for Japanese cuisine as strong as ours, and a willingness to learn and take pride in their work.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Support FOH team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Uphold standards of guest care and ensure smooth flow of service.
- Ensure a consistently clean, tidy and guest-ready front of house and bar.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism.
- Address and resolve any issues raised by guests or staff, maintaining high standards of service and team morale.
- Maintain high standards across presentation and organisation.
- Monitor service preparation including menu, booking management, dining setup, inventory and supplies.
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service throughout the dining experience.
- Ensure alignment and efficient workflow between FOH team members and kitchen staff.

- Previous experience in a waiting, customer-focused role.
- Confident, professional, and guest-focused.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Comfortable with POS systems, booking platforms, and team support tools.
- Enthusiasm for learning and improving with the team.
- A genuine interest in Japanese cuisine and culture.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.80-£13.20 per hour
