**About The Role**:
**What will you be doing?**
- Are you looking to supplement your regular income with shifts? Do you have flexibility and are you able to commit to shifts on a semi regular basis?
- An exciting opportunity has occurred working at Watford FC Training Ground based in Shenley / London Colney Herts. This role is a part time flexible role within our support team based mainly at WFC Training ground but with the option to work elsewhere if required. This role would suit semi retired / those already working part time as hours may not be available at certain times although we will aim to use you elsewhere if we can on our wider portfolio.
- Working on a large 90 acres site with 26 playing pitches this is perfect for those that love working outdoors.
- You will be interacting with 1st team players / coaching staff and Club directors amongst others on a daily basis. So the ability to communicate is essential.
- An interest in Football will help but is not compulsory. Please see below for a list of duties and expectations although these may vary.
- Working as the Site Security Officer within a small team. Potentially lone working at night.
- Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
- Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
- Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
- Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
- Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
- Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
- Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
- Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
- Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
- Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly completing foot patrols across site.
- Work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
- Engage with training & development as required
