**Supporting our Water Supplies**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join our Health & Safety team here at Anglian Water. This role will work in partnership with Anglian Venture Holdings (AVH), which operates as a commercial arm of the Anglian Water Group. You will focuson ensuring that AVH have an efficient, effective and pro-active approach to health, safety, environment and quality across the organisation.

Using your strong stakeholder management and communication skills, you will provide professional and authoritative safety, environment and quality services and specialist advice to assure governance and compliance in all matters relating to Health & Safety,environment and quality performance. You will also develop and maintain the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) to ISO 9001, IS 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements to ensure accreditation is maintained as required by the business.

As our Safety Advisor, you will play a fundamental role in identifying Environment, Health & Safety and Quality issues that may affect the company and implement solutions to safeguard the company against the same. You will also create and promote IMS awarenesswithin the organisation, while also carrying out internal IMS auditing, including site audits and reporting to Business Unit Manager and Senior Management Team. Alongside this, you will also help the business prepare for external audits and host such audits.

**What does it take to be a Safety Advisor?**

Our ideal safety Advisor will have a practical approach to safety and flexible in responding to customer needs and safety team demands alongside:

- A NEBOSH, IOSH and/or related Health & Safety qualifications or working towards such qualification(s)
- Experience of delivering / maintaining ISO safety, quality and environment systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced computer (particularly excel) skills
- Good team player
- Ability to coach
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Manage own workload and time effectively
