**QC Lab Technician**

We are currently working with a highly awarded polymer manufacturer in Wigan, who develop and manufacture resin for a wide range of purposes to a large scale. They are looking for a QC Lab Technician to ensure the quality of goods entering and leaving thesite.

The role has working hours of Monday to Friday 6am-6pm at a basic rate of £11.83 per hour. There is a training period (lasting up to 12 weeks) the rate of pay is initially £10.07 per hour. After your 6 months probationary period is complete a loyalty bonusof £200 is payable per month.

**What you’ll do**:

- Completing inspection and test procedures as specified in the manufacturing instructions and completing the quality documents in a timely manner.
- Preparing pre-shipment samples and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Carrying out project and development work where needed.
- Carrying out calibration of equipment and relevant procedures.
- Identifying non-conforming material or processes and take action to arrange the safe reprocessing.
- Liaise with/inform senior staff of abnormal situations, technical matters and concessions.
- Ensuring that all activities associated within the quality control department are carried out in compliance to health and safety, environment and quality management systems.
