**Rate: £24.00 - £29.00 per hour**

**Hours: 9am - 6pm**
The Android Enterprise organization ensures that Android works seamlessly in Enterprise use cases.Our client cares about device provisioning, remote management of devices and apps, connectivity, data security, and a high-quality end-user experience.Theyare expanding rapidly, and adding support for many new use cases and device types.
**Overall Responsibilities**:
The company is currently in the process of upgrading our client’s infrastructure for testing enterprise functionality in the Android OS, to make tests faster and more stable.The primary goal of this role is to get the company’s existing suite of tests runningin this new infrastructure.
**Top 3 Daily Responsibilities**:
Migrate enterprise Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) tests in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to use new infrastructure for preparing test devices and executing test steps.
Contribute back to the test infrastructure itself as needed, when there are gaps in the existing infrastructure that prevent tests from being migrated.
Debug and fix failures in tests that have already been migrated to the new infrastructure.
**Skill/Experience/Education**
**Mandatory**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Android development (may be app development or OS development)
- Experience programming in Java
- Experience writing tests using the JUnit testing framework

**Desired**:

- Experience developing an automated testing infrastructure
