We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Sales apprentice at Harlow Bros in Nottingham. This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established team.

Harlow's has recently transitioned from a family-owned business to an Employee-owned business. Harlow’s has over 90 years’ experience in Timber, Engineered Timber, Manufactured Buildings and more. With 13 locations across the UK and over 500 employees, from manufacture to merchanting, Harlow’s have the expertise to advise, supply and support you in any project or build.

We are looking for someone with the following experience/qualifications:

- I.T. proficient
- Presentable and articulate
- Personable and hardworking

The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.30am to 5pm with a daily 30-minute lunch break, with an alternating Saturday morning, 8am to mid-day.

You will report to the Branch Management team.

As a Branch sales apprentice your primary responsibilities would be:

- Counter sales duties - serving customers proficiently and accurately
- Stock replenishment
- Learning the inhouse computer system
- Data input
- Supporting in ensuring that the sales showroom/shop, warehouse, and yard are maintained to the highest standards at all times
- Supporting with yard duties
- General housekeeping within the showroom, warehouse, and yard

As an apprentice on the Trade Supplier Standard Level 2 Apprenticeship you will cover:

- Detailed knowledge of product information
- Order processing
- Stock control
- Customer service skills
- Warehouse management
- Stock and logistic operations
- Health and safety in the workplace
- Team working

The apprenticeship will last 12 months however the role will be permanent.
