MK Scales is a leading distributor of scales and weighing equipment in the UK. As part of the Roseoak group of companies, we have been delivering industry-leading products to our customers for over 40 years.

A position has recently become available for a lead warehouse dispatcher & calibration operative to join our growing team.

**ROLE**:

- Assembly and calibration of weighing scales prior to dispatch.
- Completing and filling out calibration certificates for products and orders.
- Picking, packing and preparation of customers' orders in a timely manner, meeting deadlines for dispatch.
- Co-ordinating dispatch of orders with different couriers.
- Receiving, checking, documenting and putting away incoming deliveries.
- Assist with rolling stock taking program to ensure adequate quantities and correct location of products.
- Overseeing the general running of the warehouse in accordance with our ISO 9001 procedures.
- Responsible for organising stock products on shelves or on pallets to allow for easier inventory checks and shipment pulls.
- Maintain the receiving, processing, warehousing, and distribution processes for materials and equipment
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical stock counts as and when required.
- Responsible for following up on any missing or defective items with suppliers or manufacturers.
- Responsible for providing Pick sheets and inventory detail for projects and ensuring that shipments are prepared in time for daily collection.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**:

- Solid communication and listening skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Be well organised and comfortable with basic maths.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Sheets
- Experience with Sage Line 50 or equivalent would be an advantage
- Possess a forklift licence.
- Previous scales/weighing equipment/calibration experience would be an advantage
- Ideally GCSE educated or equivalent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
