**Assistant Portfolio Manager - Prestigious Wealth Management Institution - Manchester - Salary up to around £40K plus exceptional benefits package**

MBF are currently working with a prestigious Wealth Management Institution who are looking to add an Assistant Portfolio Manager to their highly experienced team in Manchester.

This company provide Wealth Planning & Investment Management Services to individuals, family offices, trusts, business owners and charities. They offer a range of bespoke, long term investment services in order to grown and maintain their client's portfolios.

The role:

- The role is working on the Investment Management side of the business, supporting their Portfolio Manager's and Directors.
- You will be responsible for the management of Private Client, Trust and Corporate investment portfolios. Much of the role will involve research, report writing etc, although you will also be involved in discussions with clients.
- It will require a very similar skillset to that of a Paraplanner, but suits someone who is looking to use their knowledge to do something different and focusing on Investments.
- There will be plenty of opportunities to progress within this hugely ambitious team, although those looking to become client facing portfolio Managers will need to continue their studies and become qualified to Level 7

**Requirements**:

- A keen interest in Investment management is essential and ideally you will be able to prove this via Investment focused qualifications etc
- Strong educational background
- Professional manner
