**Apprenticeship and Careers Specialist**

We have an excellent opportunity for an **Apprenticeship and Careers Specialist** to join the L&D team This new role will support the L&D Manager with the implementation, delivery, and management of formal talent training programmes including (but not restricted to) apprenticeships and other trainee schemes.

**WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW**:

- Monday - Friday, 37.5-hour week
- Salary: £35-£40K + Bens
- Location: Coventry / Edinburgh / Hybrid or Home based

**WHAT WILL THE APPRENTICESHIP AND CAREERS SPECIALIST DO?**
- Create, develop, and champion the talent and careers programs and aligning them to business need - from operational to specialist.
- Work closely with the resourcing team to identify resource need/gaps across the business
- Drive careers end to end processes from attraction to completing structured program and be the go-to for learners and support the management on their journey.
- Build relationships with schools and colleges to help drive recruitment of new talent.
- Develop strong relationships with our apprenticeship providers and other partners ensuring we receive the best service and offer the most relevant programmes
- Collate and report on performance/results and evaluate initiatives to help inform future decision making.

**WHAT YOU NEED?**
- Knowledge and experience of managing apprenticeship and development programmes.
- Knowledge and experience in managing the apprenticeship levy fund.
- Proven success in engaging with learners to support with recruitment and retention.
- Able to influence, advise and guide stakeholders looking to develop their people.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, presentation and public speaking.
- Ability to builds strong relationships, be highly organised and deliver to tight time scales.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Learning Management Systems
