Our client are a specialist in the specialise in Security, Life Safety & TV Media solutions working for some of the largest names in Social Landlords, Home Builders, Government, Hospitality and Broadcasters in the UK, they are looking for a Warehouse Operativeto join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
- Salary £20,000 to £21,500k pa
- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm One-hour lunch break
- You will need to participate in stock take every 6 months and this includes over the weekend, Sat & Sun (OT payable)
- 20 days hols + bank hols, birthday leave after probation
- AE pension after 3 months
- Health Cash Plan after probation
- Uniform & safety boots provided
- On-site parking

Your role as a Warehouse Operative will include:

- To be responsible for the organisation of engineer(s) stock issuing and associated processes
- Accurate recording of equipment receipts/issues on Management software i.e. Sage 200 & Tesseract packages where applicable
- Assisting with all aspects of the goods in function, receiving deliveries in relation to SCCIA product requirements, verifying products delivered in accordance with delivery notes, housing of products in the appropriate warehouse locations and enteringproduct quantities received via Management software once verified
- The issuing of required equipment to engineers, recording relevant data and completing transactions in accordance with current procedures and processes
- Collating product requisitions received from the client in advance, assembling product pallets, issuing stock, generating and processing transactions via Management software
- Maintaining current and accurate stock records of all inventory through timely stock entries/transactions via Management software (product deliveries/engineer product issuing)
- Organizing the despatch of goods via third party carrier in association to requirements. This will involve collating i.e. 'picking’/ packing orders and preparing them for despatch utilising 3rd party carrier software package
- To learn all aspects of product logistics and processes to be able to assist in associated roles as dictated by staff absences and/or business activities.
- Ensuring tidy, safe, clean working environment is maintained

Experienced Required:

- To demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills in meeting required deadlines for timely notification of product receipts to departments, prompt issuing of engineer stock requirements and organising equipment despatches to site via thirdparty service provider
- To achieve the required level of product knowledge/codes to allow fluent and correct stock management and issue.
- Ability to learn and cover other warehouse functions during times of absence through sickness or holiday.
- PC literacy essential
- Adherence of Health & Safety policy and practices
- Excellent customer relations skills, including telephone enquiries and face to face contact with customers, department managers, engineers and Frequency Distribution personnel
- Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
- Reach Truck Licence preferable but not essential
