**The Position: Production Operative**

At Bama UK, the production operative is expected to work effectively as part of a team to produce a range of products as required. All jobs to be carried out in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner, ensuring the quality of the product at all times in keeping with the requirements of the Company’s Health & Safety, Hygiene and Quality Policies and Procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Promote safety in the workplace and comply with legislation, identify risk areas to management for resolution.
- Work on a range of machines to produce product as required.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping of working area and machinery.
- Responsible for the quality of the product produced.
- Assist in any production duties as requested.
- Assist in any cleaning duties as requested.
- Work at a sufficient rate to meet the day’s production requirements to operational specification and producing goods to the required quality standards.
- Adhere to the factory hygiene requirements at all times whilst carrying out duties.
- Co-operate in one’s own personal training and development programme in accordance with the Company’s Training Policy and Procedure
- Assisting in the training and development of fellow team members when required.
- To promote and maintain the Company Equal Opportunity Policy to ensure a neutral and harmonious working environment.
- To carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members.
- Any other duties as dictated by the Production Supervisor or any other member of Management.

**Shift Vacancies**:
Nightshift - Monday to Wednesday 6:30pm to 6:30am, Thursday 6:30pm to 2:30am
