Shifts: 12 Hours - Days and nights available

The ROLE

As my personal care assistant you will be supporting me on a one to one basis. It is an all around role to enable me to live an independent life.

I enjoy the gym, pilates, yoga, creative writing, poetry, aromatherapy, massages, spa days eating out, or having retail therapy with shopping sprees. As my support worker you'll be by my side, providing care and support. I enjoy keeping busy and everyday is different and varied. It is not a typical care role and this role comes with responsibility as I rely on my carers to support me. I need to attend occasional trips away and I rely on care staff to accompany me to provide my care.

As my care assistant you will provide:

- Clinical care, nursing care - (tracheostomy care, skin care, eye care, hospital care),
- Domestic duties (light household duties, preparing and cooking fresh meals)
- Social support
- Admin assistance
- Advocacy support
- Emotional support for mental health.

I am looking for kind and compassionate female care assistants who are multi-skilled and able to provide a helping hand to do daily tasks and help me to achieve what I wish to do in life.

It is important that carers are tech savvy and have excellent communication skills to be successful in this role.

The support worker must be organized, be able to multi task and work under pressure. Carers must be able to follow direction as well as use their own initiative to get tasks completed.It is important personal assistants are adaptable to changing circumstances and flexibility in shift coverage.

Ideal role for paramedics, healthcare assistants, healthcare worker, support worker, carer, care giver, mental health worker, clinical support worker, personal assistant, nurse or a compassionate person willing to learn.
