Student Placement Officer

Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM &ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is looking for a **Placement Officer** across all campuses which includes for the Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford and Leicester campus.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

**Purpose**

Scholars School System is seeking to appoint a placement officer who will can source, administer and oversee work placements for undergraduate students on the Health and Social Care and Business programmes. You will work with Academics department, students and employers to maximise opportunities and ensure that all of the stakeholders’ needs are being met. You will also ensure that all the KPI’s of placement are met to the expectation of Scholars School System and our delivery Partners.

**Responsibilities**
- Source, administer, and oversee work placement activities for undergraduate students, ensuring suitability following mandatory Health & Safety checks.
- Conduct business development activities to secure suitable employers for student placements.
- Consult with employers to ensure placements meet academic programme requirements and comply with Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure completion of all contractual paperwork by students, employers, and academics.
- Monitor placements and respond promptly to student and employer enquiries or issues.
- Liaise regularly with students, employers, academic staff, and support teams to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with host organisations to increase future placement opportunities.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the line manager that are commensurate with the post.
- Be flexible with working hours, including attending early morning and evening meetings when required.
- Work in accordance with Scholars School System organisational policies.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic discipline.
- Experience in a similar job role.
- Work experience in the education sector.
- Experience contributing to the validation of new programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Proven experience working with students.

- Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm (on-site).
- Regular travel required to visit employers and campuses.
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Up to £5k annual incentive, paid quarterly upon meeting KPIs (post-probation).
- 3% annual salary increase upon completion of each service year and meeting KPIs.

Pay: £25,400.00-£30,000.00 per year
