Fire Safety Engineer

We're looking for a proactive, flexible and reliable Fire Safety Engineer to join our Manchester office, with experience in a similar role and who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. Working across a variety of projects both autonomouslyand as part of a wider team, tasks you will be required to undertake as part of your role include (but are not limited to):
- Develop design and construction fire safety strategies
- Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls
- Prepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, etc...
- Carry out site visits when required
- Provide fire safety advice
- Write fee proposal letters
- Liaise with client on a daily basis
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil or a similar field)
- Involvement and recognition with a professional body
- Proven background in fire safety and good understanding of fire engineered solutions
- At least two years' experience in a similar role
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
