**The Opportunity**

The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner.

The Finance Business Partner will play a leading role at the interface of finance and delivery teams, enabling and supporting d financial objectives, information and insights between the teams and wider stakeholders promoting a collaborative and supportive approach to assessment, reporting and analysis.

**What you will bring**
- A relevant degree
- A recognised (CCAB or equivalent) accounting qualification
- Strong experience of Finance Business Partnering
- A collaborative and empathetic approach to supporting service users
- Familiarity with financial regulations and governance frameworks applicable to local government.
- Experience working in a combined authority or similar public sector organisation.
- Wider stakeholder management skills
- A track record of delivering continuous improvements in processes, systems and reporting
