Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Maker to join our team at a restaurant in London. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and work in a fast-paced environment. The store is open Monday to Sunday and you would need to be flexible and available between the hours of 6am and 5pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders, following established recipes and portion sizes
- Slice, chop, and assemble ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food preparation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of ingredients

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and safety procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow in the industry

Note: This position requires standing for long periods of time and may involve lifting heavy objects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
