PHL Group are an established and expanding healthcare organisation responsible forproviding a variety of urgent and primary health care services across Hampshire.

As a **Dispatcher Coordinator** at PHL group, your role is so very important as the first point of contact for our patients, staff, and contract customers, you will efficiently manage patient and/or contract customer calls, keeping them informed to the progress and liaising with your duty team leader as appropriate to ensure a seamless and first-class service is delivered.

**Hours, 4 week rolling rota**:
**Days and Nights Hours covering weekends from 23:59 - 07.59**

The role will be 37.5 hours a week (22.5 hours on a set rota and 15.5 on an annualised basis)

**Salary**:
£22,811 PA

**OOH Dispatcher Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Have oversight and responsibility for a fleet of 12 cars
- Receive calls electronically, and either manipulate or pass the case verbally to the most appropriate car in their fleet, confirming receipt and providing directions as required
- Ensure all home visits are completed within set timeframes and that no breaches occur
- Receive calls verbally from Health Care Professionals, and respond promptly, sensitively and professionally, inputting details onto the system accordingly
- Contact patients by telephone using sensitivity and tact informing them of the doctors expected visit time. Details of conversations with patients will be recorded electronically and verbally
- Receive details of call completion from the Doctors and must accurately input details onto the computer system and finish all calls on the system ensuring no outstanding calls are left at the close of service

**OOH Dispatcher Skills and Experience**:

- Experience within Administration and/ or customer service roles is desirable
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Displays sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds and in different situations
- Be able to work efficiently, ensuring the appropriate appointments are made within targeted time frames
- Ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquiries/problems
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office or other databases
