**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain control of the dog(s) during walks, adhering to leash laws and regulations.
- Provide basic care for dogs, including feeding, administering medication if necessary, and ensuring they have access to water.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behaviour and needs.
- Keep accurate records of each walk, including duration, distance, and any notable behaviours.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed, such as carrying dog supplies or helping with larger breeds.
- Ensure all equipment used during walks is clean and well-maintained.

**Experience**
- Previous experience walking dogs or caring for large groups of dogs is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address any concerns.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Experience with heavy lifting is beneficial for handling larger breeds
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential for success in this role.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
