**Senior Technical Claims Specialist - Commercial Property**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Claims Specialist. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in handling complex, high profile and large Commercial Property claims (preferably with Multinational experience), to take up a Senior claims handling role within our Property Technical Claims team.

**A bit about the job**:
You'll be responsible for the management of a large Property claims portfolio, of high value (in excess of £500K) and complex claims, handling claims from first notification through to conclusion, attending site where appropriate. You will expertly manage the internal and external stakeholders involved in each case to drive great claim outcomes. In addition, you will assist with the embedding of our claims philosophy, standards and best practice with a focus on the delivery of financial results within the team.

You'll play an active part in enhancing the ability of the team to perform through quality audits and regular coaching and feedback and by the identification of training needs.

**Skills and experience we're looking for**:

- In-depth experience in handling complex, high profile, and large Commercial Property claims (in excess of £500K).
- Multinational major loss claims handling experience preferred, with knowledge of London Market claims and ECF system.
- Knowledge of fraud, FOS outcomes and impacting legislation in respect of own business unit or discipline at a level which enables the provision of strategic decision making and direction.
- Act as a credible representative for Aviva in official claims matters.
- Ability to coach and mentor to support development of other claims experts.
