**Customade** **Group** is a manufacturer and supplier of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors to trade customers. We are pleased to announce that we now have an opportunity for a Purchaser to join our team in Stonehouse.

**Job Purpose**:
Working as a member of the Purchasing Team with responsibility for ensuring that we maintain optimum stock levels within Aluminium and PVC operations in Stonehouse.

**Key Duties**:

- Reviewing a suite of Buyer Reports daily and take actions accordingly
- Generating purchase proposals using ERP stock management, reviewing proposals ahead of approvals process
- Order placement and rescheduling / expediting outstanding or overdue products to maximise working capital and minimise stock outages
- Collate supplier performance data and support/participate in supplier performance sessions discussing (Supply issues, OTIF, SCARs etc)
- Updating and actioning info in stockout log, advise customer services or production of stock issues
- Maintaining supplier details and product data including: lead time, re-order points and quantities; pricing of individual products; status (new, dormant) etc
- Good receipting, PI count adjustments, Stock check updates to Stock management system
- General Purchasing duties and provide support for purchasing activities to other Stonehouse locations where required
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment by operating within Company systems, policies, procedures
- Demonstrate our company vision and values

**Person Specification**
- Self motivated, analytical, methodical, organised and process driven
- Problem solving attitude with ability to build working relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders both inside and outside of the organisation
- Resilient and with a ‘can do’ attitude

**Essential Experience**
- Computer Literate, Microsoft Office
- Experience of MRP and or stock management systems
- Experience in a purchasing or stores / stock management environment
- Production environment preferably within fenestration industry
- Strong communication skills

**Desirable Experience**
- Grade C and above in English and Maths
- Microsoft Excel or other data analysis experience
- Supplier management process and metrics (PPM failure, OTIF, RFT etc)

**What we offer**:
**Salary**: up to £28,000pa

**Contract**: Permanent

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm

**Location**: Stonehouse
