**As a team**:
- Our Sales People are responsible for growing pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the development and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, upwards or in their current role.
- The Sales Teams lead the sale of large and complex opportunities at Accenture in the UK and Ireland across a variety of different industries. We are specifically recruiting for a member of our Health Sales Team. It is a dynamic team made up of Sales Professionals who lead and support opportunities that often combine the full breadth of Accenture. We work with most of the major clients across the Health Industry, public and private. This is an exciting and vibrant team who bring to bear the best of sales at Accenture within a team environment that positively encourages growth and promotion.
**What responsibilities will you have?**
- Ensuring our sales offering aligns with client requirements
- Work with deal leadership team on the development, refinement and execution of the sales strategy
- Creating and influencing a sales campaign strategy and ensuring the involvement of the Accenture Leadership to develop winning, compelling, and compliant proposals
- Ensure deal strategy and proposal activities align with internal governance processes
- On larger deals, leading a proposal manager and being responsible for the bid submission
- Working with the Sales Lead or Leading MD in the development and shaping of the deal including financial structuring and pricing strategies
- Working with market leading Subject Matter Experts to understand and articulate key risks for each bid component, including solution delivery and legal/contracting risk
- Influencing the development of key deal principles such as key contracting or commercial terms and performance agreements
- Leading small-medium teams and/or work efforts within Accenture
- Contribute to team initiatives, joining learning and development programmes and exercises which are designed to help improve the overall team experience and wellbeing

**Qualifications**:
**What skills & experience are we looking for?**
- You should have experience working in large sales pursuit teams.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Bid/proposal management, business development, sales negotiations or commercial pricing
- Previous experience working with major clients in the healthcare, trusts or care providers
- Proficient at assessing complex problems and identifying solutions, for example carrying out detailed analysis
- Requires adherence to strategic direction set by senior management, when establishing near-term goals
- Good communication skills - to interact with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
- Ability to complete tasks independently with little or no supervision, taking instruction where necessary or making decisions independently to determine appropriate methods and procedures on new assignments
- Organised and proficient at planning to achieve challenging timelines
- Proficient at working collaboratively with both the internal sales team and client stakeholders
- Degree of accountability for assigned tasks, our clients and Accenture
- Ability to lead small-medium teams, projects, plans within Accenture or client organisation - facilitating calls and meetings as required
**What academic qualifications do you need?**
- Degree educated or equivalent
