**About this Role**:
**We are looking for an Autism Hub Learning Assistant to join our team here at Stanground Academy**

As an Autism Hub Learning Assistant, you’ll support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and reaching their potential. You'll also contribute to team management and development, serving as a professional role model with the confidence to challenge, creativity to inspire, and the dedication to foster growth in students and staff alike.

To be successful you must:

- possess excellent communication skills
- have experience of working with young people or children on the autistic spectrum and be willing to undertake further autism specific training.
- be flexible, creative and enthusiastic about their position
- have a Learning Assistant Qualification or equivalent ( Or be willing to gain these).
- be First Aid Trained or willing to train
- have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent
