The role includes 10% store discount, uniform, well-being incentives/ discounts, development plans and pension.

The role of supervisor is to assist in the day to day overall running of a store and maximizing the Supervalu Brand and Sales, which will involve delivery of the following duties:

- Delivery of excellent customer service and maintaining high standards within the store
- Development and driving forward certain categories in store
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales
- Ensuring the store adheres to Health & Safety and Environmental Health Standards
- Completing sales and costs reports as and when required
- Ensuring orders are accurate and submitted on time
- Preparing staff rota's
- Staff Supervision, including conducting Return to Work Interviews, Staff Investigations and ensuring full compliance to the Company's employment policies
- Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager

**Experience, Skills and Education**

Essential:

- At least 1 years previous experience of working in a busy retailing environment with experience of carrying out keyholder/supervisory duties
- Excellent communication skills
- HACCP experience

Desirable:

- Above experience gained in grocery retail
- Ideally experience working in with one or more of the following categories; Fruit and Veg; Bakery; Food To Go, Hot Food, Deli, Meat and Coffee
- Management/Supervisory qualification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
