We are a friendly and well run company that makes Japanese food products and sells them around UK. We are looking for a warehouse supervisor who can control our small warehouse and work cooperatively with other staff in different departments. You will be physically fit, well organised & a good communicator with some warehouse experience and able to drive a forklift. You will work on your own a lot of the time, so you must be self motivated.

Our warehouse supervisor will receive and then store any incoming goods and ingredients, maintaining stock levels with the assistance of our purchasing manager, and preparing some outgoing goods for dispatch by our drivers. you will be able to drive a van and make a local delivery ( 1 mile) every day ( Driving licence must). Manual Handling goods.

**Incoming Goods**
- Using a forklift to off load goods from suppliers
- Checking and inspecting goods for quality
- Completing all paperwork for our trace-ability system
- Manually putting away the goods in warehouse, fridges and freezers.

**Warehouse Maintenance**
- Keeping stock rotated on a FIFO ( First In First Out) basis
- Carrying out stock checks
- Liaising with Production and Purchasing departments to ensure correct stock levels are held
- Keeping the warehouse area clean, tidy and safe
- Comfortable using scissor lift
- Adherence to Health and safety procedures

**Dispatch**
- Preparing goods for dispatch in accordance with orders

Monday to Friday, 48 hours / week ( 08:30 am till 06:00 pm)

28 holidays per year including bank holidays.

**Salary**: £26000/- £28000/- per year + Over time pro rata

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
