AssistantProjectManager **The opportunity** Duetonewlong-termresidentialhousingcontractssecuredwithmajordevelopersacross the South, the company’s Mechanical division is looking to expand its team and recruit a highly driven Assistant Project Manager. In this role, you will lead and support in managing the efficient delivery of multiple mechanical,plumbingandheatingcontractsonsitessecuredacrossHampshire,Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex, and Dorset. Reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will work within multiple levels of the Operational Managementteamtoensureprojectsarecompletedtoahigh-qualitystandardinlinewith compliancestandards,productiontargetsandHBS’sin-housequalitymanagementsystem. **Keyresponsibilitiesinclude**: - Assist&overseeintheplanning,programming,managing,execution,andmonitoringof all site activities in conjunction with site teams, client & company requirements - Assisttheproductionofforecastbuildprogrammes - Ensurecompliancetoindustry,regulatoryandcompanyqualityandsafetystandardsare always adhered to on site by company staff and contractors - Assistinthemanaging,coordination,andreportingof,salesextras,dayworks,variations, instructions. - Continuouslymonitorandmaintainexcellentlevelsofhealth&safetyonsite - Confidentandeffectivedeliveryofbriefingsandcoordinatingactivitiesonsite - EffectivemanagementofmultiplesitesandcompanyContractors - BeresponsibleforthedailyoperationsandactivitiesconductedbycompanyContractors - AssistinMaterial&Price"mastercertification" - Accurate®ularreportingasrequiredbythebusiness - Onsitematerialmanagement,workwithProcurementTeamstofacilitatejustintime deliveries and follow up on shortages and or errors. - Attendandreportonmeetings - AssistinproducingO&Mmanualsandlogbooksforsiteteams - UploadandmaintainprojectinformationonProcore - Liaisingwithallofficepersonnel,externalcustomers,andsuppliers. - AssistincontributingtoimprovingProjectManagementandreportingonprojects - ProactivelymanagetasksandreporttolinemanagersandorDirectorsas requiredon employee task management - ProactivelyhitdeadlinesandtargetssetbylinemanagersandorDirectors - GeneralassistanceasrequestedbyContractManagers. - FlexibletoandfromsitesacrosstheUKisrequired - Tocarryoutanyotherdutiesthatarewithintheemployee'sskillsandabilitieswhenever reasonably instructed - Youwillneedtohavea minimum2years’experiencemanagingconstructionrelatedprojects ideally mechanical/plumbing and heating packages in the new build housing sector. - NVQ3ofCity&Guildsequivalentinplumbingandheatinginstallationwouldbeadvantageous - AProject,ConstructionManagementorEngineering,relateddegree(2:1)wouldbebeneficial - Strongtimemanagementskillsandconfidentabilitytomanagemultipleprojects - Effectivetaskmanagementandprojectadministrationandorganisationisessential - Strongpeoplemanagementskillsareamust - Professionalfocusonquality,safety,andcompliance - Goodnegotiationandcommunicationskills - Positivemanagementattitudeandconfidentleadershipskills - GoodITskillsisessential - Fullcleandrivinglicence **We offer**: - Fulltimepositionofferingacompetitivesalaryof £30K-£35KDOE - Companyvehicle,fuelcardandmobilephoneandsmarttabletprovided - 20daysannualleave+publicholidays - Companypension
