**Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to join our team to work on our United Utilities contract based in Rochdale.**

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday.
- Location: Rochdale
- Hours: 50 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm).
- Salary: Up to £36,600 per annum (depending on experience). Overtime rates are offered for weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday work at X1.5.

**Responsibilities - but not limited to**:

- You will be working closely with a CST (UU Operative) to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
- Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
- Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
- Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.

**Requirements for the role**:

- HGV Class 2 licence (required)
- Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points
- Experience with working with JHL City Flex’s, or training is provided.
- Experience of High Pressure Jetting would be advantageous - however training would be provided.
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Competent in IT, accurate data entry
- Team player
- Positive, can-do attitude

*Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces*
