**We are recruiting for an independent practice based in Stourbridge looking for an excellent Veterinary Surgeon to join their established team.**

The practice is an RCVS accredited practice, it is very well-established and proudly independent. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Vet to join their existing team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons. You will be supported by a great nursing team and clerical team.

The practice is spacious and modern with multiple consultation rooms, a large theatre and in-house lab. You can expect equipment including Digital X-ray and Ultrasound Machine.

The practice sees a wide and varied case load with a currently employed Vet taking part in a lot of complex surgical cases including orthopaedic procedures. You can expect a balance between routine surgical procedures and medical cases weekly allowing a true GP role available. A Vet joining with their own interests will be encouraged and supported with further qualifications funded.

**Key Duties**

We are looking for a Vet to work on their full-time rota with an excellent work-life balance, the full-time rota allows a 35-hour working week with different shift pattens to suit the joining surgeon. This would be based over a 4-day working week. There is no OOH or on-call work on this position and occasional weekend cover. The weekend rota is currently 1:6 Saturdays only.

**Package and Benefits**

The starting salary on this position dependent upon experience is around £40,000 per annum. Higher salaries are considered depending upon further qualifications and experience. There are additional perks included e.g., RCVS, VDS and additional memberships. You can enjoy a set CPD allowance of £1,500 per annum with funding available for higher budget courses.
