**The company**:
Marlborough Highways is an established, independent and dynamic civil engineering company with 30 years of industry experience. We work collaboratively with Local Authorities in London and the South East to deliver public realm, regeneration and infrastructure projects.

**The role**:
Marlborough Highways have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a growing business within a busy department. As a key member of the business, supporting the operational team, you will ensure that all of the works we deliver are effectively coordinated.

**Duties**:

- Ensure works are running on time and request extensions to Permits if needed
- Submit permits and notices and liaise with Project Planner & Project Supervisors notifying them of road space bookings
- Input and update permitting information using Excel/Teams spreadsheet
- Maintain and promote relationships with the Local Authority
- Liaise with Highways Authority regarding proposed works
- Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, advising on permit related queries

**Who we are looking for**:

- A strong background in administration (no specific Permitting experience is required and all training on our Permitting systems is provided)
- Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Computer Literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in building great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Enthusiastic and proactive, with a drive to learn and develop

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
