Sunray Engineering Limited are a leading and specialist Manufacturer and Installer of Steel Security and Fire Doors as well as associated products such as Louvre

Panels, Solid Panels and Access Hatches to a diverse range of specifiers across the
UK and Worldwide. Due to continued growth we now seek to enhance our Paint facility with a qualified and experienced operative.
We operate to a number of Quality Standards and are an Akzo Nobel/Interpon approved applicator of their extensive range of Powder Coatings.

All the following to be carried out within the specified requirements of Sunray
Engineering’s Quality System and company operating procedures as applicable.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Carrying out the critical pre-paint preparation of all steel products, which includes
Doors, Panels, Screens and Fittings, using a newly installed shot blasting facility within a controlled environment.

Powder Coat Facility however certain products require a wet spray or Red Oxide coating.

Upon satisfactory inspection of finished goods, packaging each product carefully to eliminate transport damage ready for despatch.

Assisting with the loading of goods ready for despatch to the customer, ensuring correct labelling is on the packaging.

Provide potential paint process timings/schedules as required by the business.

To contribute towards the construction and implementation of continuous improvement programs within the Paint shop area and due processes.

To ensure all working practices and operation of machinery is conducted within the appropriate company or legislative Health & Safety guidelines.

Any other duties requested by Management to enable to smooth and continuous running of the business.

**Secondary responsibilities**:
1. To assist with housekeeping around other areas of the factory as required.
2. To assist with general production operations as required.

**General; -**

Assist with the company internal quality audits and document any issues pre or post audit as part of the continuous improvement ethos and any other points at the request of your line Manager or the Quality Manager.

At all times to conduct your duties within the policies and guidelines of the business namely the staff handbook, quality, environmental and health and safety policies and systems. Actively participate in the promotion, further development and enhancement of your role and working area. Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the company, including its products, services, financial information and customers.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
