Teaching Assistant - Durham

- Primary school and Nursery
- Students are diagnosed with SEMH / Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism, trauma and attachment issues
- Delivers high end SEN provision
- OFSTED good school recognition

The role
- Working Monday to Friday
- Working with early years & KS1
- Working 1:1 with children
- Managing challenging or disruptive behaviour
- Working with children with high needs

You
- Will have experience or willingness to develop knowledge of PEC’S
- Will have experience of teaching children with special needs
- Knowledge of children with limited spoken language
- Will have a friendly and caring personality
- Significant awareness to keep children safe
- Willing to contribute towards a nurturing and caring environment
