Personnel Selection are pleased to be supporting this fantastic company with their search for an Editorial Assistant.
The team based in Andover, Hampshire are seeking an Editorial Assistant to provide administrative, systems and editorial support to the UK-based Publisher, Executive Editor and Editorial team.
**The role is a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of two days per month required within our Andover office and the remainder of days worked remotely from home.**
The role holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including overseeing the preparation of author and freelance contracts, inputting information into the appropriate databases, and undertaking quality assurance checks. They willalso co-ordinate internal and external meetings, take minutes, book travel and hotels, and complete and handle data in the Integrated Publishing System.
In addition, they will fulfil general editorial tasks, including support with copy editing and proofreading of both print and digital components, and assistance with editorial queries. They will support the team in creating presentations and reports andwill regularly liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including authors and freelancers.
The team are looking for a someone who is a strong organiser, with a problem-solving ability and a ‘can-do’ attitude. They must have a keen eye for detail and be suited to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is a busy and varied role and will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
