Required - Support Worker

**Pay Rates**:
£11.50

**Shift Patterns:**
Day Shifts Mon to Fri (7am to 6pm) 1-3 shifts available per week.

Day Shifts Sat to Sun (9am to 2pm)

Night Shifts Tue & Fri (9pm to 7am)

The Company:
We are a leading national provider, supporting adults and children in the community with medium to long term complex health care needs.

Our client is a mature man who suffered a C7 spinal cord injury following an accident some years ago. He lives with his partner and dog in the Hough-on-the-hill, Grantham area. He is wheelchair dependent and is paralysed from the chest down but does havesome movement in his arms which enables him to perform some activities of daily living such as feeding myself, using mobile phone and computer.
Your role is key in helping him achieve this - meeting his medical, personal care and day-to-day assistance needs. You will work alone and as part of a team, operating on shifts to provide 24/7 care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with mobility
- All aspects of personal care
- Support with continence and bowel management
- Support with preparation of nutrition and fluids
- Medication Administration
- Support with accessing activities and appointments
- Support with passive movements
- Support with Autonomic Dysreflexia

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**
- Support with accessing activities and appointments
- Support with mobility
- Have an encouraging nature to support this Individual emotionally & psychologically
