**Proactive Workforce Solutions** are looking to recruit **Qualified Dispenser **to work with one of our customers based in **Glasgow**.

**Role**:
To dispense medication for patients, following good dispensing practice and relevant guidelines by the GPhC code of ethics. Dispensers are vital to supply medication to patients; this is an essential role within our client.

**Key activities**:

- Able to check off goods received efficiently and accurately
- Able to pick items efficiently and accurately and check own work for errors
- Able to identify erroneous components in an order
- Able to ensure a stock rotation
- Working knowledge of GPhC regulations on valid prescriptions
- Working knowledge of GPhC regulations on dispensing practices (i.e. labelling, storage, hygiene requirements)
- Predominantly dispense Low Tech therapies and mínimal Hi-Tech therapies as required, exclusive of Oncology.
- Undertake and gin NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Services award

**Desirable experience/Essential skills**:

- Effective written and verbal communicator
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent attention to details
- Customer and Quality focused
- The ability to learn from others and draw upon their skills
- Self-motivation in regard to study
- Ability to manage time effectively when under the pressure
- Adhere to current legislation
- Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
- Working knowledge of GPhC guidelines
