We are looking for a Senior CAD Technician experienced in Rail

This is A hybrid role based in London

As a Senior CAD Technician you will be joining a highly collaborative team, who are currently engaged in a number of high profile multi-discipline rail projects HS2 Phase 1, 2a and 2b and Digital Rail programmes and a number of design and build projectsthrough contractor relationships. The team capability comprises the design of bridges, lineside and station infrastructure.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Liaise with colleagues, other departments and project teams with respect to drawing requirements. Liaise with colleagues, other departments and project teams with respect to drawing requirements.
- Comply with varying CAD standards ensuring all deliverables are compliant.
- Producing technical supporting data such as specifications and reports.
- Management of information in accordance with company procedures.

Skills required:

- Working knowledge of railway line-side structures such as signal gantry, signal post, REBs, PSPs, LOCs, UTXs, URXs, RRAPs, steel/concrete bridge structures including footbridges, earth retaining structures, station platform and structures, OLE structures,concrete foundations, piled foundations, etc
- Proficient in Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D) AECOsim/OpenBuildings Designer and Autodesk
- Competent in structuring CAD designs and producing with support CAD based deliverables
- with the correct level of detail for the required stage of design. This could be feasibility through to detailed design in accordance with Network Rail process and standards.
- Experience of using Data Management Systems in Common Data Environment (CDE) and can comply with the system standards.
- Experience of multi-disciplinary design coordination using CAD tools and with support can integrate other designs into their own.
