This opportunity will see you working under site Lead C&I Engineers supporting all activities across site relating to control and instrumentation equipment. You will be supporting the maintenance, installation, development and improvement of all site Electrical,Control & Instrumentation equipment under the guidance and direction of senior EC&I Engineers while when required supporting other teams with plant electrical maintenance and installation activities.

The role is a great opportunity for a skilled and experienced manufacturing Plant Electrician or Maintenance Engineer to develop into a skilled C&I Engineer with full exposure to the equipment and related activities while undertaking professional development.A typical development plan would see us supporting you through the achievement of a relevant degree. All you need is core electrical engineering/maintenance skills, some exposure and current working knowledge of control and instrumentation equipment such asPLC's and the desire to pursue C&I as a specialist area.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Champions health and safety standards, behaviours, and improvements.
- The delivery of electrical, control, instrumentation system maintenance, installation, and development under the guidance of senior EC&I Engineers.
- Supporting the delivery of EC&I projects across the site.
- supporting wider electrical mainteance and installation activities as required.

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- Ideally apprentice trained, Electrical Engineer qualified to HND/HNC
- Proven experience of industrial electrical maintenance and installation in a fast-paced or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Experience and knowledge of safe working practices, the development of method statements and risk assessments.
- Working knowledge and experience of PLC/automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
- An desire for professional development and the willingness to undertake classroom training to achieve a relevant engineering degree.
