**shoezone** has an opportunity for a **Sales Assistant** to join our team based in **Reading.** You will join us on a** part time, permanent **basis.

In return you will receive a **competitive salary, pro-rated between £2,390.44 to £2,722.23 per annum (Full Time Equivalent **£17,928.28 to £20,416.69**) depending on your age.** After being with the Company for 3 years you will be on the national minimum wage for 23+ year olds regardless of your age. **About us**:
We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer, offering low price and high quality footwear for the whole family. We operate from **340** stores and have approximately **2,550** employees across the UK.

Our store portfolio consists of **239** town centre stores, which stock the core **shoezone **product range and **58** hybrid town centre stores and **44** larger retail park stores which also stock additional brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies and Kickers.

During an average year we sell 14.5 million pairs of shoes per annum at an average retail price of **£13**.

**The Sales Assistant role**:
Naturally, we don’t expect you to know **shoezone** inside and out, which is why we train and develop all of our Sales Assistant’s to give the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be the best they can. However you will need a genuine enthusiasm and passion for helping people, along with a motivation to learn and develop.

**Key duties and responsibilities of our Sales Assistant**:

- Working in a busy and fast paced environment
- You may be asked to undertake key-holding duties

- Hands on with the ability to hit the ground running
- An all-around team player with a can do attitude
- Flexible and be able to support the store (your availability will be discussed at interview stage)
