**Duties**
- Repair, maintain and service all types of machines booked in
- Repair, maintain and service all types of hire machinery
- Maintain stock levels of parts by notifying Counter staff when running low
- Identify parts requiring to be ordered on machines requiring repairs (using parts diagrams where necessary)
- Complete customer job sheets recording parts, time and necessary details
- Keep a tidy, safe working environment
- Prioritise workloads
- Produce high quality work
- Engage with customers on enquiries relating to repairs, servicing and maintenance
- Take reasonable care regarding Health and Safety matters
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be defined by owners

We are looking for an experienced mechanic to repair, maintain and service small engine 2 & 4 stroke machinery e.g. lawnmowers/tractors, chainsaws, pressure washers, strimmers, generators, stonesaws, small engined/hand power tools.

**Galloway Hire Tools** is a family dealership with friendly staff delivering excellent customer service, including providing advice, with a first class servicing, repair and hire centre. There are 3 permanent full time staff and 2 Business Partners. Suppliers that we work with include Stihl, Husqvarna and Briggs & Stratton. Although we do repair/service majority of makes and models.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
