**What will you be doing?**:
Owning and running our very own distribution centres means you’ll be joining our established, friendly and hardworking fleet of LGV drivers. They provide our stores with a smooth, consistent supply of products across our trading estate.

Playing a significant part in supporting the communities we serve; you will get the opportunity to meet and build great working relationships with colleagues across the Society, as our friendly instore teams welcome your arrival. Here at Central England Co-operative, we work together to deliver the availability and range our customers need, at the times they need it.

Out on our distribution network of roads, you will represent our Society ethos in your actions showing patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. You’ll be committed to ensuring the delivery of store orders, on an average five days out of a seven-day operation, with a requirement to cover a sixth day every other week. The advantage of fixed shifts empowers you to balance work and home life commitments.

Reaping the benefits of driving our modern fleet, your high level of Health and Safety and driving standards, coupled with compliance to road traffic laws and transport legislation, is demonstrated in your confident ability and pride in your responsibility for your vehicle and the load you are carrying.

This opportunity is to join our PM Shift - Working 14:00- 22:00.

**How will I know if I am right for this role?**:
Whether this is your first driving role since qualifying, or you're an experienced driver that’s weathered the roads for many years, we are looking for people that are hands on in this physical line of work loading and unloading deliveries. Being sociable and friendly you will strive to put our customers, communities and members at the heart of everything you do.

Having the right qualification is of course important too. You’ll need to hold a Full UK driving licence, minimum cat C, valid DCPC card and Drivers digital card and have gained LGV driving experience throughout your training and testing. Any additional experience, it is not essential however may be an advantage.
