Summary Working alongside the Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be responsible for the design, preparation and delivery of a range of crafts and activities based out of the Children’s Country House Activity Hub. You’ll be part of the Visitor Experience team, responsiblefor providing an amazing, welcoming day out for children and families, and you’ll support the day-to-day running of the visitor operation. This role will be known internally as Visitor Experience Assistant.

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

You'll be required to work regular weekends and school holidays.

What it's like to work here The Children’s Country House at Sudbury is a brand-new visitor offer for children and families, offering a playful heritage day out. We’re recruiting a team to help us reimagine, reinvent and reinvigorate our programme, our approach and our relationshipwith visitors. We’ve been working alongside children and their families to design a heritage attraction that works for them and makes them feel engaged and empowered. What you'll be doing You’ll be responsible for delivering crafts and activities that change with the seasons and wider programming. You’ll be enthusiastic, fun-loving, welcoming and happy to lead activities with groups of children. You’ll work alongside the Visitor ExperienceOfficer to plan and refine activities. You’ll provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff and volunteers alike. You’ll maintain high standards of presentation in the Activity Hub and across the property.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you, if you have:

- Creativity and passion for arts and crafts.
- Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate in an engaging manner with a wide range of people, especially children.
- Flexible customer service approach.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Well organised and able to plan own time.
- Some knowledge of relevant Health and Safety procedures.
