**PRU HLTA**
Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to move into a HLTA role or an experienced HLTA looking to become a PRU HLTA. This role will be split into 2 halves, one half of therole you will be classroom based supporting a small group of 6-8 students during their lessons and managing their behaviour, the second half will be covering lessons in the absence of the class Teacher and working alongside different Teachers who have plannedleave, to help them plan the lessons that you will be required to deliver. All of the students you will be teaching will have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis. Therefore, the ideal PRU HLTA will need to have had previousexperience and have strong classroom and behaviour manage skills.
**Pupil Referral Unit**
This Pupil Referral Unit is a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station in Southwark and caters for students aged between 11-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis. They currently have 50 students who attendand in their last Ofsted in 2019, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
