**Personal Care Assistant (PA)/Support Worker**
- MNL/LG**About me**
- The Direct Payment (DP) Holder is a 30-year-old lady who has congenital gross hydrocephalus. Whilst the DP holder appears okay within herself, she suffers very deeply with generalised anxiety disorder, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome and an array of sensory disorders. She is neurodivergent so can sometimes have trouble understanding instructions, and needs things to be phrased in a certain way. The DP holder will require someone to help her with a lot of admin work such as making phone calls, opening letters, filing letters, and ensuring she is organised and on top of things. There may also be a need for escorting to appointments, and help with food preparations.**Hours and rate of pay**
- 14 hours per week£14.25 per hour

**Location**
- Hertford (SG13)**DBS/Checks**
- Confirmation of DBS checkRight to Work and references will be needed.

**Training**
- Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
- Safeguarding Adults
- Introduction to first aid
- Health and Safety

**What you would be doing**
- The majority of support required is with admin tasks such as phone calls, form filling, filing etc. Some light housework/tidying up.**The person I would like**
- The PA must be very organised, punctual, and good at admin. A good knowledge of the benefits system is very preferable or able to research.Finally, the PA must not fear or have an allergy to cats as there are 6 cats in the household
