CAD technician required for a company who operate on a global scale who have considerable investment and plans for significant growth. They are market leaders for innovation and are well renowned within their niche industry. They offer a role within a greatteam environment and an opportunity for comprehensive on the job training.

This role will suit a 2D CAD design technician that has excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with little to no errors. Must have experience in 2D AutoCad or equivalent and will ideally have experience producing detailed manufacturingdrawings within a manufacturing or high-volume production environment. Applicants who hold a relevant engineering qualification with mechanical aptitude will have a considerable advantage.

You will be responsible for compiling detailed production ready manufacturing drawings and component lists,

adhering to customer requirements provided to you to ensure customer satisfaction in quality and supply. Liaising with the production team to provide any relevant information to assist in the manufacture of products. You will be encouraged to continuouslyseek for improvements that can be made to the design process to ensure efficiency and flexibility. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the processes within your control adhere to relevant standards and health and safety requirements.

The role:

- Communicate with production team to provide any information required to assist in the manufacturing of product.
- Compile detailed, production ready, manufacturing drawings and component lists as required in a timely manner and to a high-quality standard.
- Compile site layout drawings and site assembly instructions as required by the needs of the projects with a maintained high level of accuracy.

The person:

- Must be able to interpret manufacturing drawings
- Must be experienced in Autocad 2D
- Information Technology Skills (Excel, Word)
- Have excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with mínimal errors
