**Fencing Erector - Full Time**

**Location**: Yeovil, Dorset (field based and workshop in Yeovil)
**Salary**: £24,000 - £34,000 per year (depending on experience and overtime)

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, with regular overtime opportunities

**About Us**

The Dorset Farm Fencing Company is a family-run business based in the heart of Dorset. We design and install **traditional metal parkland, livestock and security fencing systems** — used across some of the **most prestigious estates and properties in the South West**. Our system is faster, stronger and more accurate than traditional fencing methods, combining engineering precision with traditional craftsmanship.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Fencing Erector** to join our growing team.
You will work both **independently** and **alongside experienced engineers and the business owner**, assisting with installations on-site and helping in the workshop as required.

The role involves:

- Installing fencing on farms, estates and private properties across Dorset and the South West
- Operating hand and power tools safely
- Supporting the setup and operation of our engineered fencing system
- Loading, unloading and maintaining materials and equipment
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Occasionally working away from home (with notice)

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re not necessarily looking for experience — we’re looking for **attitude**.
If you’re practical, reliable and keen to learn, we’ll give you all the training and support you need.

**Essential qualities**:

- Willingness to work outdoors and get stuck in
- Good timekeeping and a positive, can-do approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Basic understanding of tools and machinery (training provided)

**Desirable (but not essential)**:

- Previous experience in fencing, construction or agriculture
- Full UK driving licence (preferred due to rural site locations)
